A unique and different way of doing the Camino de Santiago is to do it by sea under sail, as the Apostle Santiago did centuries ago. The Xacobea Nautical Crossing is a new road officially recognized to obtain La Compostela in a unique and different way. To do this, you have to sail a cruise with a minimum of 90 nautical miles and go sealing in all the ports that mark the route, finally and to complete the Camino you will have to walk the last 5 km of the Portuguese Way from the town of Milladoiro and seal in the chapel that gives it its name and when you get to Santiago in the Pilgrim’s office.
The official requirement to obtain your Compostela is to sail 90 nautical miles and walk the last 5 km of the Portuguese Way to Santiago de Compostela
